DERELICT AND ABANDONED GREAT BARR HALL (dangerous exploring!)

Original RSJ's ha ha, Ignore my stupid commentary, I don't know what happens when I go exploring but all my knowledge evaporates, I'm just nuts. Anyways, this is Great Barr hall, A grade 2 listed Strawberry Hill Gothic style mansion, built in 1777 for sir Joseph Scott, first Baronet Scott of Great Barr. It was renovated and remodelled in the mid 19th century and there was originally an older house on this site in the 17th century which was demolished to build this house. The Scott family ran into financial difficulties and for A while it was leased out to the lunar society where they held their meetings, then again the family moved back in until the last widow, Mildred, passed away in 1909. In 1918 it became St Margaret's Mental Hospital and became abandoned in 1978. Near by was more hospital buildings, which have now been demolished and housing built there, I was told there are still some remaining underground tunnels remaining but unfortunately I couldn't find them :( Thanks for watching, Enjoy Folks!
