Welcome to Koh Kood. Located in Trat province, this is Thailand's easternmost island. I'm a fan of Koh Kood not only because of its stunning beaches and tranquility, but also because we can easily drive from Bangkok and other parts of eastern Thailand. You can get the gorgeous scenery without having to go that far. I'll show you some of the secret beaches on Koh Kood in this episode. Travelling to Koh Kood is easy nowadays from Laem Sok Pier in Trat. I travelled with Seudamgo catamaran. I parked my car at Seudamgo office and they took me to the pier nearby. Beautiful view along the way. The catamaran is modern and spacious. It took us only around 1 hour to reach Koh Kood. The staff is very helpful. They helped us carry our luggage. I stayed at one of the first resorts on the island, Koh Kood Cabana. Watching sunset on Tapao Beach, where the resort is located, was so relaxing. I had a simple fried rice for dinner. On my 2nd day, I got some energy in the morning from breakfast at our resort before exploring the island today. At Koh Kood Cabana, the rooms are mostly bungalows. They can accommodate two or more guests in one room, according to the room type you've chosen. So, a group of friends or family members can stay together with no worries.
