I Should Have Waited To Ride These Trails

We’re continuing our adventure motorcycle journey across Europe on the TET and Adventure Country Tracks. riding remote mountain roads, gravel tracks and back roads as we make our way home after reaching the Balkans on our Honda CRF300Ls. After spending the previous day in bed with food poisoning, I wasn’t sure I was ready to get back on the bike. While Steff had spent the day exploring the mountains alone, this was my first chance to ride again. The day started well. Easy tracks, beautiful scenery, plenty of laughs on the intercom and a much-needed coffee stop all made it feel like the worst was behind me. But as the riding became steeper and more demanding, I quickly discovered that feeling better and being fully recovered aren’t always the same thing.
