Cramond Island Exploration- CRAMOND ISLAND Firth of Forth Edinburgh - Trekking to Cramond Island -
Early winter morning in February for a frosty trek out to Cramond Island - This small island with access via a causeway (during low tide only) is located on the east side of Edinburgh, with fabulous views across the Firth of Forth to the Fife Coast line and in the distance the iconic Forth Bridge. A Frosty morning around 3 but fabulous clear skies - and of course the sunrise after confirmation of the low tide window from RNLI via texting 81400 - I ensured I gave myself plenty of time for a mini adventure across via the causeway & not forgetting those earth aptly named Dragons Teeth!
