21st Century Piano Bar: Scott Bradlee at TEDxOrangeCoast
Scott Bradlee is a New York City-based pianist, arranger, music director, and producer. His music, which seeks to blur the boundaries between genres, has received widespread media coverage and has been featured in television, video games, and film. Currently, he serves as the music director of Punchdrunk's acclaimed immersive theatre work, Sleep No More. In addition to maintaining a full schedule of both performing and producing, Scott has built an online following, producing viral videos such as "Classic '80s Hits Interpreted For Ragtime Piano," and "A Motown Tribute to Nickelback." His most recent project, Emote CTRL, is an interactive musical variety show that allows online viewers to contribute to his improvisations, live in real time. About TEDx. TEDx was created in the spirit of TED's mission, "ideas worth spreading." The program is designed to give communities, organizations and individuals the opportunity to stimulate dialogue through TED-like experiences at the local level. At TEDx events, a screening of TEDTalks videos -- or a combination of live presenters and TEDTalks videos -- sparks deep conversation and connections. TEDx events are fully planned and coordinated independently, on a community-by-community basis.
