Intervista a Cecilia Bartoli
Cecilia Bartoli is one of the world's most renowned operatic voices. A mezzo-soprano, a versatile interpreter of works from Bellini to the Baroque, and a musical researcher, she has won five Grammy Awards and worked with the most important conductors, including Daniel Barenboim, Nikolaus Harnoncourt, Herbert von Karajan, and Riccardo Muti. Speaking with Bartoli, you not only feel like you're conversing with someone who lives and breathes music, but you also discover a delightful woman with exquisite immediacy. The interview, dated May 25, 2002, was broadcast on radio and is presented here in its entirety, without editing or music editing, including the opening and closing parts of the conversation, which were excluded from the broadcast program. Interview by Andrea Perego.
