Cornwall - a county of curiosities and quirky oddities! A compilation of some of our favourites!

Have you heard of a tight squeeze in Port Isaac? A Huer's hut in Newquay? Or Queen Adelaide's grotto near Cawsand? Join us on a whistlestop tour of Cornwall including Carn Brea Monument near Redruth, the longest grave in Veryan, and even an obelisk erected for a pet pig called Cupid. We have made so many wonderful discoveries over the past few years while filming for our channel, and here are some of our favourites, brought together for you in one neat video. Putting this video together was so much fun! We have visited so many curious and quirky places in Cornwall, and this video made me want to jump in our car and visit them all over again. Enjoy! Included in this video: Rinsey Head Mine Engine Houses Squeezy Belly Alley, Port Isaac The Egyptian House, Penzance Mural, Zennor Carn Brea, near Redruth Roundhouses and the longest grave, Veryan 4 Follies at Mount Edgcumbe Estate Lease stone at Lostwithiel Huer's Hut, Newquay Tivoli abandoned Theme Park, Lerryn Queen Adelaide's Grotto, Cawsand Nelson the Seal, a sculpture at Looe Visit our website to find out more about Tivoli Park, https://www.cornishwalkingtrails.co.u... The standard description bit… We are Sarah and Andrew and we film our walks around Cornwall and publish on YouTube, usually weekly. Sometimes we stay in accommodation in Cornwall and upload our vlog. Sarah is fascinated by sea glass and likes to collect it so there may be the occasional sea glass video too. The channel is a hobby and we both have normal day jobs! Frequently asked questions: How can we meet up with you? We are often approached by our viewers to meet up and we would love to meet everyone. For more details, visit our website: https://www.cornishwalkingtrails.co.u... What camera do we use? Since December 2018 we have used: Canon Powershot G7x MkII How do I find the books you use? Some are still in print but most are secondhand and we pick them up in charity shops. Please refer to the video for the book titles. Sorry but we can’t put a link in every description. Best time of year to visit Cornwall? We love May, June for flora and fauna, July and September for spectacular scenery. What is your dog’s name? Sorry but we do not release the name of our dog, perhaps you can make up your own name for him.
