In this fake cake tutorial I will giving you a step by step tutorial on how to make a beautiful fake pastel summer cake! Why make a faux cake? The fake cake prop lasts forever & I don't have to worry about counting any calories! Every year I make fake cupcakes that look real for my candy land themed Christmas tree & this year I wanted to try making a fake cake that looks real to display for spring & summer. Also, since making this video I have made several fake cakes & I recommend using white spackling to frost the entire cake with instead of caulking.
