A Conversation with Herbie Hancock
On October 18th of 2022, Herbie Hancock sat down with d'ARP (Dina Pearlman-Ifil, daughter of Alan R Pearlman, the creator of ARP Synthesizers) and gracefully shared his time with her to discuss a myriad of subjects: from his early years of Crossings (Mwandishi Sextet) to the Head Hunters album, to sound tracks; from Civil Rights to Covid, to the state of the planet and the future generations of music. A wonderful glimpse of a creative giant who got his start in electronic music using ARP Synthesizers.
