Drowning Season: The Shadow Returns

The Drowning Season picks up a hundred years later. Present day, South Carolina. A hurricane named Meredith makes landfall on a small fishing town called Salter's Creek, and a field reporter gets trapped inside with the residents who refused to evacuate. The town was founded in 1932 by families with New England roots and no history in the area. The government scattered a bloodline in 1928 and called the matter closed. It wasn't. 0:00 Directors Intro 1:55 Host Introduction 3:09 Chapter 0: Clear Skies, Routine Coverage 9:34 Conspiracy Rant — Seven Pins 14:56 Field Diary — First Night 17:41 Chapter 1: Landfall 24:55 Emergency Alert — Hurricane Meredith 27:40 Chapter 2: Silence From Salter's Creek 33:18 Field Diary — Things I Won't Say On Air 36:56 Podcast — Folk Traditions Of The Coast 42:46 Chapter 3: What The Water Uncovered 49:31 Sunday Sermon — The Idol Fell 55:16 Conspiracy Rant — The Innsmouth Connection 1:00:58 Found Audio — The Covenant Service 1:06:00 Chapter 4: Congregation 1:12:35 Field Diary — The Last Night 1:16:27 Podcast — The Olmstead Interview 1:24:10 Chapter 5: High Tide 1:27:59 Emergency Alert — Federal
