After an hour-long pursuit, the submarine was hit by depth charges. Captain Lumby decided to scuttle his vessel to prevent it from falling into enemy hands. He jumped into the water with his crew after opening the hull valves to sink the submarine. Two sailors were reported missing. The survivors were taken prisoner by the Italians. Since that night in August 1943, the Saracen had never been found. Seventy years later, after extensive research in the archives of the British and Italian navies, Michel L’Hour, director of the DRASSM (Department of Underwater Archaeological Research), and his team set out to find the wreck. Will they find the exact spot where the submarine sank in order to film its remains on the seabed?
