I crossed Land border from Tajikistan to Afghanistan from Panji Poyon - Shir Khan Border , stayed for a night in Afghanistan Shir Khan Bandar area while passport with the Immigration Officer of Afghanistan . Next day after getting first entry stamp at Shjr Khan border we were asked to get another important stamp at Kunduz Immigration office . Japanese already left for Kunduz alone after getting the Visa , me and other friends from Bangladesh gone together to Kunduz after taking a Taxi of 750 Afghanis for 5 persons to go Kunduz for a distance of around 150 kms from Shir Khan Bandar. After reaching to Kunduz , Afghanistan which we found very area , found some cheap Hostel for around 500 Afghanis for all 5 persons but later we reach Hotel named Kunduz Hotel where we found Japanese guy already sitting there waiting for us . Hotel guy charged us 3200 Afghanis for 6 persons which was of double price charged to us , as compared to just beside room which was rented out for a day of 1500 Afghanis , when you are around Kunduz then try to negotiate for that kind of room but after coming to know about the original price of Room Hotel guy also offered free breakfast next morning before checkout . In morning we went to Immigration Office of Kunduz , which was important to go there to get a stamp because of entering from Tajikistan to Afghanistan , after getting work done from Visa office me and Japanese guy decided to go to Mazar i Sharif which is the Holy city in Northern Afghanistan and is home to the Mausoleum of Hazrat Imam Ali Ibn Abi Talib ( R.A. ) who is Prophet Muhammad’s ( peace be upon him ) son in law . According to a local legend and popular belief among some Sunni Muslims and Afghan locals, the Shrine of Hazrat Imam Ali Ibn Abi Talib ( R.A. ) in Mazar-i-Sharif houses his tomb. The city grew around this spiritual site after a shrine was first built by the Seljuq sultan Ahmed Sanjar in the 12th century but according to Most Shia Muslims and many historians believe the actual tomb of Hazrat Imam Ali Ibn Abi Talib ( R.A. ) is in the Imam Ali Shrine in Najaf, Iraq. According to Shia tradition, his sons buried him in an undisclosed location to prevent desecration, which was later revealed by the sixth Imam , Hazrat Imam Ja'far as-Sadiq ( A.S. ) .
