Pregação sobre a Carta de Filemom, um pedido especial por perdão. | Pastor Paulo Seabra

Philemon 1:1 Paul, a prisoner of Christ Jesus, and Timothy our brother, to Philemon, our beloved and fellow worker, 2 and to Apphia our sister, and to Archippus our fellow soldier, and to the church in your house: 3 Grace and peace to you from God our Father and the Lord Jesus Christ. Thanksgiving 4 I thank my God, always remembering you in my prayers, 5 knowing your love and faith toward the Lord Jesus and all the saints, 6 so that the sharing of your faith may become effective in the knowledge of every good thing that is in us in Christ. 7 For, brother, I have found great joy and comfort in your love, because the hearts of the saints have been refreshed through you. Paul Intercedes for Onesimus 8 Now then, even though I feel full liberty in Christ to command you what is fitting, 9 yet I prefer to petition you for the sake of love, being what I am, Paul, the aged, and now also a prisoner of Christ Jesus. 10 Yes, I petition you for my son Onesimus, whom I begot while in chains. 11 He was once useless to you, but now he is useful to you and to me. 12 I am sending him back to you personally—that is, my own heart. 13 I wanted to keep him with me so that he might serve me in your place, in the chains I bear for the gospel. 14 But I wanted to do nothing without your consent, so that your kindness would not be of a compulsion but of a free will. 15 For I believe that he was taken away from you for a while, so that you might receive him forever, 16 not as a slave, but as a servant. Rather, far more than a slave, as a dear brother, especially to me and even more to you, both in the flesh and in the Lord. 17 Therefore, if you consider me a partner, receive him as you would receive me. 18 And if he has wronged you in any way or owes you anything, charge it all to me. 19 I, Paul, am writing this with my own hand: I will repay—so that I may not have to tell you that you also owe me even yourself. 20 Yes, brother, may I receive this favor from you in the Lord. Refresh my heart in Christ. Personal Communications. Greetings and Blessing 21 Confident as I am of your obedience, I write to you, knowing that you will do more than I ask. 22 And at the same time, prepare a lodging for me, for I hope that through your prayers I will be restored to you. 23 Epaphras, my fellow prisoner in Christ Jesus, greets you, 24 Mark, Aristarchus, Demas, and Luke, my fellow workers. 25 The grace of the Lord Jesus Christ be with your spirit.
