Trip Report Norwegian B737-800, Oslo ( OSL ) - Antalya ( AYT )

Hello my guys and welcome back for another trip and another trip report. For this video I’m escaping cold and wet Norway and I’ll be headed down for the south of Turkey for a nice summer vacation in the hot and warm sun and the nice beach and the pool. My trip was booked with TUI but the flight down to Antalya was flown by Norwegian, the aircraft of course was a basic and not too old Boeing 737-800 which also had the cool internet livery with all the writing on it. To avoid all the queues and chaos and stuff I went out to the airport almost 4 hours before my flight that was scheduled to leave at 19:50PM so I got a lot of time for some planespotting before I headed through passport control and to gate F19. Because I was so early at the airport I got a seat on the second row and I really enjoyed the engine view. We took off almost 20 minutes behind our schedule and we managed to touch down in Antalya 7 minutes behind our schedule in the dark. The flight was very enjoyable and we passed by a pretty big thunderstorm so I saw some pretty big lightning strikes in the clouds. I didn’t book with food onboard so I bought a cup of Pasta bolognese for €4.50 and it was really good. I also got to see the beautiful city of Istanbul and the big international airport of Istanbul. Then it was about half an hour before we we landed. On our approach I saw absolutely nothing because it was pitch black and we came on approach over the sea, the landing I wouldn’t exactly call butter but not Ryanair either. We had a gate by the terminal so we used the jet bridge to get off and then there was a pretty long line to get through passport control and then I got my luggage.
