The Hike to Laguna de los Tres - Photographing Patagonia, Episode 3

The hike to Laguna de los Tres is one of the two most famous trails in El Chalten and undoubtedly the area's classic. And it's easy to see why. The views of Fitz Roy and the surrounding mountains you get to enjoy on the way are stunningly beautiful. Make no mistake though - this hike is no walk in the park. It's a 10-kilometer long trail with some seriously steep sections that will take an entire day to complete and will make you sweat and puff. But trust me when I say - it's an absolute must-do around El Chalten.
