J'ai photographié Paris comme à l'argentique

For an entire day, I imposed a simple rule on myself: to photograph Paris as if my camera were a roll of film. No burst shooting, no constant checking of the screen, manual settings, a fixed focal length, and the obligation to make each image count. This video was made in collaboration with OM SYSTEM around the OM-3, a digital camera that allowed me to rediscover a discipline very close to that of film photography: slowing down, observing, choosing, accepting the possibility of failure. But this video isn't just a hands-on look at the OM-3. It's a reflection on what film photography can still teach us today: presence, intention, useful frustration, and this way of staying in the scene instead of immediately checking if the image is successful. With Alex, we photographed Paris, talked about focal lengths, blur, constraints, and then ended the day with a simple idea: it's not the camera that makes the photo, it's the intention you put into it.
