Violin at Eastman: Inspiring Greatness from Studio to Stage
The violin faculty at the Eastman School of Music draws from the great national schools of playing and represent some of the best talent from around the world. What sets them apart is not only their mastery of the instrument, but their ability to connect with their students and translate technique into artistry. Step inside the studios of these teachers, and hear their insights, as well as the experiences of their students. In addition to individual lessons, students gain a breadth of experience with repertory classes, studio classes where they get direct feedback from fellow students and faculty, as well as opportunities to perform solo, chamber and orchestral works in some of the finest halls in the country.
