Cathal Coughlan, 'Singer's Hampstead Home' @ Cleere's Theatre, Kilkenny 11.8.19

I flew to Dublin to get to Kilkenny to see Cathal Coughlan doing two nights at the itsy bitsy and utterly marvellous John Cleere pub! Sunday, night one, was titled, "Songs of Co-Aklan I: The Re-Brand Audit (A Retrospective). He had a band with him on this night: drums, stand-up bass, guitar and cello. Cathal was on keyboards and standing. Well of course I had to record the only Microdisney song he played over the course of the two nights. They are the reason I found this incredible artist. And it is filmed by me in kind of in dance-o-vision but it is is SUCH a pop tune. But uh oh, he forgot the lyrics momentarily - "in a witty and stylish way!" I like how you can see the other band members singing the chorus. It's a total joy to sing this song. :-)
