大阪から奈良・天川村へEV旅！山道157kmは充電なしで行けるのか？

This time, I took a 2-day, 1-night EV trip from Osaka City to Tenkawa Village and Kurotaki Village in Nara Prefecture in my Nissan Ariya B6! The theme of this trip was: "Can I drive an EV to a mountainous area and return without charging?" I departed from Osaka City, passed through Katsuragi City, and headed to Tenkawa Village. I drove entirely on local roads, stopping at places like KITO FOREST MARKET SHIMOICHI, Menfudo Limestone Cave, and the Kakure-sato no Yado Mori no Koryukan (Forest Exchange Center). Since the route was mainly mountainous, I honestly thought I might need to charge somewhere, but surprisingly, I didn't need to charge at all. Moreover, the battery level was still 55% when I returned home. What happens to the energy consumption when traveling to mountainous areas with a Nissan Ariya? How much does the battery drain? Can I drive without worrying about not charging? I'll share my real impressions of this EV trip, including actual meter images and photos from the trip. ■ Driving Data for This Trip Vehicle: Nissan Ariya B6 Route: Osaka City → Katsuragi City → Tenkawa Village → Kurotaki Village → Osaka City Total Distance: 157.6km Battery Level at Departure: 89% Remaining Range at Departure: 461km Battery Level at Destination: 65% Battery Level upon Return Home: 55% Average Fuel Economy: 8.8km/kWh Number of Charges: 0 Outside Temperature: Around 26°C Air Conditioning Use: Almost None Road Conditions: Mostly local roads and mountain roads ■ Places Visited on This Trip ・Michi-no-Eki Katsuragi ・KITO FOREST MARKET SHIMOICHI ・Toricho Shokudo ・Menfudo Limestone Cave ・Kakure-sato no Yado Mori no Koryukan ・Kurotaki Suspension Bridge This trip was in the summer, and since the air conditioning was hardly used, the conditions were quite favorable for an EV. In winter, when using the heater, or if you make many detours, your energy consumption may change, so if you're traveling to mountainous areas in an EV, it's recommended to check charging spots in advance. Even so, on this trip, I felt that a 1-night, 2-day trip to mountainous areas was quite realistic even with the Nissan Ariya B6.
