旧東海道を歩く（大磯宿から茅ケ崎）

This is the third day of my walking trip along the old Tokaido road. Last night I slept in my car at the Western Parking Lot of the Prefectural Shonan Coast Park. The Western Parking Lot of the Prefectural Shonan Coast Park has shower rooms and toilets that can be used 24 hours a day, making it a comfortable parking lot for sleeping in your car. There is even a water tap to wash your surfboards and wetsuits, so it's a parking lot for surfers! In the morning, I took a leisurely walk along the Shonan Coast, had breakfast at McDonald's, and then set off. Yesterday I walked to Oiso-juku, but there were few parking lots around JR Oiso Station, so I parked my car in a paid parking lot near Hiratsuka Station, one stop before, and took the JR to Oiso-juku. Between Oiso-juku and Hiratsuka-juku, there are many places where the pine trees of the old Tokaido road remain, there are many historical sites, and there are easy-to-understand explanations, so I really enjoyed it. On the third day, I have to go back to Nagoya, so I can only walk in the morning. Therefore, I passed Hiratsuka-juku and walked to Chigasaki Station before heading home.
