We entered the Pesaro Prison, one of the Italian prisons where punishment is not just punishment, but also an attempt at change. Between cells, internal work, theater, and training courses, we met inmates and staff who grapple with a difficult question every day: can we really start over after a mistake? Article 27 of the Constitution speaks of re-education. Here, we tried to understand what happens when that promise collides with the reality of prison. An intense, direct, and unfiltered episode, where the line between guilt and the possibility of redemption becomes increasingly blurred.
