Alf Wood inducted into Oldham rugby's Hall of Fame

Full back Alf Wood was inducted into the Oldham RL Hall of Fame at the 150th dinner on Saturday 27th June 2026 and club historian, Michael Turner, gave an insight into why. He played from 1908-1921 and won every major honour with the Roughyeds except the Challenge Cup. He toured down under twice with Great Britain and played in the most famous test match of all.
