Build a Digital Oscillator and Complete Tube Transmitter for AM -- The R.A.N. Transmitter
Based on an article by Bob Nickels, W9RAN, I built an exciter with a digital oscillator and a 100 watt modulator with 811-As and a single 813 power amplifier. Bob's article showed how to use programmable oscillator chips and a board kit from Hayseed Hamfest to eliminate the need for quartz crystals.
