She’s in total control now. ***** Rai Radio 3’s broadcast of Puccini’s “Tosca” from the Teatro dell’Opera di Roma on March 1, 2025. The evening will recreate the 1900 production that premiered the Opera. The cast will include Anna Netrebko in her signature interpretation that she has performed at the Metropolitan Opera, Teatro alla Scala, Arena di Verona, Salzburg Festival, Teatro Colon, and Wiener Staatsoper, among others. She will be joined by Yusif Eyvazov in his acclaimed turn as Cavaradossi and Amartuvshin Enkhbat as Scarpia. They will be joined by Gabriele Sagona, Domenico Colaianni, and Saverio Fiore. Daniel Oren conducts the production by Alessandro Talevi. “Tosca” is set to open on March 1 and run through March 6, 2025. There will be a second cast starring Yolanda Auyanet, Luciano Ganci, and Gabriele Viviani.
