"I want to create a water basin where the family can view a beautiful water surface!" Planning for Mizuniwa House began with this simple statement. The dining space, with its open ceiling and ample sunlight, features a wood-burning stove that adds to the enjoyment of life, and behind the flowing curtains is a water garden that has become a place of family memories. As a staff member at Aiba Construction, Endo-san has met many customers and provided support in home building and real estate. When building his own home, he commissioned Shimada Takafumi of Shimada Design Office to design it, and is also enthusiastic about working with the fine materials he has learned about in his previous work, and collaborating with respected builders. Over the 10 years since it was built, Mizuniwa House has become a vessel for the family's daily life, and has grown in value.
