US strikes Iranian tower, Iran claims deadly attack on US base in Syria
New images released by Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth show an Iranian tower collapsing after it was struck by U.S. forces. CENTCOM said it struck dozens of targets across Iran, with operations ending early Friday. The latest attacks hit bridges in southern Iran, killing at least seven people, according to Iranian state television. The operation marked the sixth consecutive night of U.S. strikes in Iran. In response, Iran said it targeted a U.S. military base in Syria and claimed there were fatalities.
