The Cure for the Mind

THE CURE FOR THE MIND Everything—good and bad—becomes recorded in the heart. Sometimes our recorded experiences create obstructions to our inner freedom. Through a simple meditation, we can invite help from above that removes our inner obstacles, just like the light removes the darkness. Sacinandana Swami teaches a traditional song that attracts divine grace into our lives. Here are the first two verses so that you can sing along: gaurāńga karun‌ā koro dīna hīna jane mosamo patita prabhu nāhi tribhūvane dante tr‌n‌a dhari gaura d‌āki he tomāre kr‌pā kari eso āmār hr‌daya mandire O my dear Lord Gauranga! Please show Your mercy to this lowly and destitute soul. O Lord! There is no one more fallen than myself in all the three worlds. Holding grass between my teeth, O Lord Gaura, I am calling out to You now! Please be compassionate upon me and come to reside within the temple of my heart. Sacinandana Swami, a spiritual teacher and monk in the Bhakti tradition, is known for his significant contribution to the practice of meditation and kirtan. Dedicated to the process of inner transformation, he has spent fifty years in pursuit of genuine spiritual experiences.
