Accused Suitcase Killer Gets Flustered After Judge Refuses to Give Her a Lawyer Again

Forty-six-year-old Sarah Boone attended a hearing on Monday morning where the court discussed the future of the trial. Boone had previously asked for representation after she previously went through 8 attorneys, which the judge later denied saying she now has to represent herself. Boone was seen getting frustrated at the fact that she has to represent herself and said in the hearing, “I don’t know what I’m doing.” Trial for Boone is set to start October 7th. She's accused of second degree murder after trapping her boyfriend in a suitcase. Jorge Torres Jr. suffocated to death inside Boone’s Winter Park home. Boone claims they were playing hide-and-seek, she forgot he was inside the suitcase, and she fell asleep. Video evidence from the night of Torres Jr.’s death shows the victim inside the suitcase yelling for help while Boone records the video and laughs. Boone called 911 the next day saying her boyfriend was dead.
