Original ElliptiGO "Alfa" elliptical bicycle prototype
This is the first ride on "Alfa," the prototype of the first outdoor elliptical bicycle. The video was taken in the summer of 2006. Out of the gate, the elliptical bicycle worked well. In fact, the day this was shot I rode it for more than 20 miles. Although it wasn't as fast as a conventional road bike, it was really fun, and most importantly, it was the best low-impact emulation of outdoor running I'd ever experienced.
