Praveen Sparsh's beats: From a calming groove to complex rhythm | Notes & Chords

Multi-percussionist and music producer Praveen Sparsh comes from a highly respected lineage in percussive art. He is the grandson of Mridangam exponent Thanjavur Upendran and the great grandson of Thavil exponent Valangaiman Shanmugasundaram Pillai. In addition to accompanying senior artistes on the Carnatic stage, Praveen is part of many bands and ensembles, such as A Carnatic Quartet, Blue Trio, and Band Cooum.
