Is the Tamron 45mm F/1.8 Di VC USD still good?

YES. It's an AMAZING lens! Don't sleep on it. Especially if you can find one for a REALLY good deal. I couldn't really believe how amazing it was compared to my Nikon 50mm 1.8G.
