Villahermosa Complete Guide

We start out at Parque Museo La Venta which has a lot of Olmec artifacts, and the original heads from the La Venta site we visited near Coatzacoalcos (   • Our Cost of Living for 7 Days in Coatzacoa...  ). On top of that they also have a zoo with tons of animals to see. Afterwards we stroll through Parque Tomás Garrido Canabal which has some beautiful views of Laguna de Las Ilusiones. We of course visit Villahermosa's main church (Catedral del Señor de Tabasco) before crossing the street and trying the best horchata in Mexico at Horchatas la Catedral la Bendición del Señor de Tabasco. A couple days later we stroll through the Plaza de Armas, and check out another church (Parroquia de la Inmaculada concepción de Maria). After we visit Casa De Los Azulejos which has some beautiful tile work. We explore the Zona Luz which is a series of walking streets with shops, restaurants, and bars before heading to Mercado José María Pino Suárez to try some local specialties.
