There are scenes here that never aired in the U.S.A. due to which I obtained from Japan as well as original "next week" trailers which aired in Japan which were dubbed into English in 1972 for U.S. syndication narrated by Paul Hecht, the voice of Goldar & Rodak in "The Space Giants" episodes 1-30. None of these trailers aired on WTCG/WTBS Superstation 17-Atlanta except for the preview of episode 2 at the end of the debut episode which is here on this channel @thenostalgicpodblast (the original U.S. title "Monsters from Outer Space" is heard) HERE IS THE CONCLUSION OF THIS 4 PART STORY:    • "The Space Giants" episodes 35 & 36 of 52 ...   NOTE: If a scene or a moment here is not in English, it never aired on WTCG/WTBS Superstation 17 in Atlanta, GA or it was cut from airing before U.S. television watching audiences due to violence. "Lord Goa" in Japan) "Ambassador Magma Taishi" ("Magma" is "Goldar" in the English version which is not a literal translation) was created by Osamu Tezuka . The villain "Rodak" in English is "Goa" in Japanese, though that also is not a literal translation. In 1972 Peter Fernandez & his team from the "Speed Racer" audio translation team began adapting "The Space Giants" to an English-speaking audience. All of the English translation in this reel was produced in 1972. When "Star Wars" was such a success at the box office in 1977, Ted Turner's WTCG/WTBS national cable network "Superstation 17" began airing "The Space Giants" afternoons on their local Atlanta, GA & national U.S. cable network until 1981 which at that point in time in the late 1970's was distributed by Lakeside Television out of New York City. In 2014 I edited & produced a set of all 52 half-hour episodes of "The Space Giants" using as much of the English translated tracks that I could find, some tracks from Betamax tapes of WTCG/WTBS airings & some tracks of the English version from 16mm film reels. The video elements in my unofficial English DVD set were from Japanese laserdiscs which were in Japanese with no English tracks. Since then "Ambassador Magma Taishi" was released onto Blu Ray in high definition in Japan. There is a rumor that all of the English "Space Giants"' tracks by the Peter Fernandez translation team are lost. Hopefully, the original English tracks for "The Space Giants" are not lost. So, what I have done is combine Japanese laserdisc video footage, Betamax & VHS recordings of WTCG/WTBS airings between 1977-1981 with 16mm film footage from my collection to present this show in the best and most complete way possible to an English-speaking audience. Only here will you see the "next week" trailers to "The Space Giants." In the future, I may re-edit this series using the high-definition Japanese Blu Ray release to upgrade the visual quality of this presentation. "The Space Giants" series in 2024 currently is in the public domain.
