Trains at Tackley 11/01/20 (inc. Chiltern diverts)
This short video shows the result of a couple of hours of filming at a wet and windy Tackley station, on the Cherwell Valley line between Oxford and Banbury. In the video, we see the usual procession of CrossCountry Voyagers, a GWR Class 165 and a couple of freights, along with a few diverted Chiltern Railways services, making an unusual appearance through the station during daylight hours. The services were diverted away from the Chiltern Mainline due to engineering work at London Marylebone, meaning they operated as Birmingham Moor Street - Oxford services instead. Enjoy!
