Introduction to Sarah Fielke Słodki Quilt Block of Month 2025

My brand spanking new Block of the Month program is open for subscription as of right now. The new BOM quilt is called Słodki - that means Sweet in Polish, and it’s pronounced Swod-ki. The reason it's named in Polish is because it’s inspired by vintage and antique tapestries and kilim rugs. This absolute sweetie is a 12 month program that will begin on August 1. The quilt is a combination of piecing and appliqué - probably the most piecing by ratio that my BOM quilts have had prior to this. They really are MOSTLY PIECED BLOCKS, with some appliqué added for spunk. It’s all straight patchwork- no foundation paper or Y seams. It is a queen sized quilt, with the option to make a smaller version too, and it’s delivered via my website as a PDF download each month with included video instruction to teach you every step you need to know along the way.
