Mumbai Metro Line 2B | DN Nagar to Mandale | Aug’25 | 4K HDR Complete Construction Progress Updates

Mumbai Metro Line 2B, also known as the Yellow Line, is an important, 23.643 km long elevated corridorunder construction. It is one of the busiest routes and aims to connect the western and eastern suburbs of Mumbai, from DN Nagar to Mandale in Mankhurd.  The line is planned to have 20 elevated stations. It will connect with other metro lines, suburban railways, and the monorail.  As of mid-2025, civil work is 78-83% complete. The project is being completed in phases, with the first phase expected to open by the end of 2025 and full commissioning planned in stages between 2026 and 2027. The depot at Mandale is nearing completion.  The line is expected to reduce travel time by 50-75% and ease traffic congestion and pollution.
