Graduated from the Jikei University School of Medicine, he worked in the Department of Plastic Surgery at Tokyo Women's Medical University, the Department of Surgery at the Cancer Research Hospital, and the Chief of the Breast Outpatient Clinic at Jikei University School of Medicine's First Surgery Department, before opening Nagumo Clinic, which specializes in breasts. With the motto of "protecting the beauty, health, and function of women's precious breasts throughout their lives," he travels to four clinics in Tokyo, Nagoya, Osaka, and Fukuoka, as well as as far north as Hokkaido and as far south as Okinawa, for breast augmentation surgery, breast cancer surgery, simultaneous reconstruction, and treatment of gender identity disorder. While working as a part-time lecturer at Jikei University School of Medicine and Kinki University, and a visiting professor at Dong-A Medical University in Korea and Dalian Medical University in China, she is also involved in education, giving seminars at various academic societies on breast cancer, plastic surgery, and cosmetic surgery, and opening her clinic to visitors to promote the use of reconstructive surgery.
