Although the weather and river conditions disrupted their original plans, kayaking enthusiasts didn't give up on their shared adventure. For safety reasons, the organizers changed the route of the Nysa Szalona River rafting trip. Instead of departing from Jawor, participants met at the Słup Reservoir, where they could safely enjoy water recreation. The event was organized by members of the Closer to the Residents Association. The initiative aimed not only at physical activity but also at promoting the natural beauty of the Jawor region. Kayaking is a perfect way to slow down, take a break from the daily grind, and discover the beauty of the surrounding landscapes from a completely different perspective. Both young and old participants agreed that the change of location didn't detract from the unique character of the event. On the contrary, the time spent together demonstrated that a good atmosphere and the opportunity to actively relax in nature are paramount. The organizers are already announcing the next edition of the rafting trip. They hope that if the conditions on the Nysa Szalona are favorable, next year they will be able to fulfill their original plan and kayak from Jawor to the Słup reservoir.
