La Grande Librairie rend hommage à Edgar Morin - 03.06.2026

To pay tribute to him, "La Grande Librairie" presents an episode featuring his appearances on the program alongside Augustin Trapenard and François Busnel. Over the years, Edgar Morin helped us understand the upheavals of the contemporary world, the crises of our time, but also the challenges and hopes of the future. This evening also offers the chance to revisit several memorable segments. Among them is a reading of "Liberté," the famous poem by Paul Eluard published in 1943, performed by a former finalist of the "Si on lisait à voix haute" competition with Edgar Morin. Also featured is a previously unreleased piece, "Droit dans les yeux" (Straight in the Eyes), which the writer wrote especially for "La Grande Librairie."
