BEBE DE OCHO-NUEVE MESES ¿QUE ES LO NORMAL?
We're continuing with the videos about baby development! As you know, I'm making a series of videos for the channel so that, from birth to 2 years old, you'll know the main developmental milestones at each age, as well as those that should alert you. At 8 months, your baby will be able to sit up without support, which will expand their field of vision. They'll be curious about grabbing toys of different colors, improve their object manipulation skills, and have fun throwing them on the floor. At nine or ten months, your baby will start crawling, and be careful! They can move faster than you think, so watch out for accidents. Regarding feeding, it's a great time to start introducing different textures to their food if you haven't already. Let them handle food with their hands and try to hold the bottle on their own, even if it means a few spills or messes. You'll see that your baby starts to recognize themselves and laugh in the mirror. Your baby recognizes familiar people and may also be more shy or fearful around strangers; the well-known separation anxiety may also begin to appear. And regarding sleep, how can we not talk about the famous eight-month regression? In this video, I'll explain the causes of this regression, but above all, how we can manage it without introducing new sleep habits. I hope I've been able to answer your questions; feel free to leave them in the comments. You can find much more content related to Pediatrics on my channel. There, we discuss infant feeding, complementary feeding, dermatology, digestive issues such as vomiting and diarrhea, fever in children, childhood vaccinations, and much other content that parents like you ask me about daily in my work.
