Check out our EGO chainsaw 18 inch review. We used this EGO 18 inch chainsaw to cut up a huge cedar tree. Our EGO 18 inch chainsaw with the 56 volt battery to cut up a cedar that was 24 inches in diameter at the base. The tree was so large, I had to cut from both sides. We only used one 56 volt, 5 ah battery charge to cut up the tree into a total of four nine foot sections. The EGO chainsaw 18 inch was extremely powerful and cut the tree without issue. The only modification on this chainsaw is a carbide tip chain that we added. The EGO 18 inch chainsaw is truly a workhorse. Its a real chainsaw that can handle whatever cutting job a homeowner may need. The battery was recharged in a little over an hour and was ready for more work. Although the battery charged quickly, I have a spare which means I can run a saw for up to four hours.
