A Week of Highs and Real Moments — Arcade, Self Care & My Son’s ACT Test

This week had everything — fun, frustration, faith, and so much gratitude. 🙏🏾 We kicked it off with an arcade play date with the boys — pure joy, no agenda. The next day my husband sent me for a pedicure after I vented to him about a rough week at work. I didn’t even have to ask. He just knew. I’m sharing that whole relaxing, much-needed appointment. Feeling renewed, I went to my hair appointment because self care isn’t a sometimes thing for me, it’s a rhythm.Then came the moment that stuck with me the most. I took my oldest son to his ACT test for college and I’ll be honest — I got frustrated because he wasn’t as prepared as I wanted him to be. But God did what only God can do and allowed him to test anyway. The week wrapped up with nail day. I got a brand new bangle nail set and you do NOT want to miss this reveal! Some dilly dallying at Target with the boys. And somewhere in there my youngest took over the camera for a second to share what he loves about his dad. I did not see that coming and it wrecked me in the best way. This is real life — the good, the frustrating, and the deeply grateful.
