Line 6 Spider 2: Roughest toughest amp I've ever used. review and tutorial
I sold this amp shortly after making this demo as I didn't feel I needed 75 watts of power in my little home studio. How I regret that. The Spider 2 series, in stark contrast to the 3 other spider generations, has so much muscle in the clean/overdrive area where I spend most of my playing time. So gutsy and natural, each note seems to assert "Hey, shut up and listen to me." It's a matter of personal preference, of course, but I've never been able to get such a pleasing sound from another amp. I'll be forever looking for another one of these.
