The menisci are located between the femur and the tibia. They are a fundamental component for cushioning our knees and supporting our weight, adapting to all types of twisting motions in our body. There are different surgical techniques depending on the severity of the tear and other factors that influence the surgeon's decision regarding the type of surgery. For this reason, it is important that the patient attend a physical consultation with the doctor and bring any requested diagnostic tests. The doctor will assess the patient's physical condition and concerns, and once all the necessary information has been gathered, will choose one surgical technique or another. In this case, we demonstrate how we perform arthroscopic surgery for a meniscus graft.
