Risk management and accountability in complex construction projects
A construction project, no matter what its size, involves risks. Risk management is more effective when it identifies and manages risks from the earliest project stages to minimise likelihoods and impacts. It should be applied throughout the project cycle. Where appropriate, a risk-management strategy should be developed and included as part of a risk execution plan. A panel of experts will focus on practical considerations they consider best practices and how accountability should be effectively managed. Panellists Cheryl Cairns, Partner, Trowers & Hamlins LLP (moderator and panellist ) Akash Paunikar MRICS, Contracts Manager, Ras Al Khaimah Economic Zone (RAKEZ) Dafydd Wyn Owen, Partner, HKA
