Vishwachetanam - Through the Lens of Conviction | Avinash Dharmadhikari | TEDxKKWIEER
What gives purpose to our actions? Is it ambition, or something deeper? In this talk, the speaker explores the Indian philosophy of Sankalp; a conscious inner resolve that transforms scattered effort into purposeful action. Through timeless wisdom, inspiring stories, and simple yet profound reflections, he reminds us that true purpose begins when we recognize our interconnectedness with the world around us. As our awareness of this oneness grows, so does our sense of responsibility - to ourselves, to others, and to the larger world we all share. Avinash Dharmadhikari is a former Indian Administrative Service officer, educator, and public intellectual who has dedicated his life to shaping socially conscious leadership among youth. After serving in key administrative positions in Maharashtra, he resigned from the civil services to focus on nation-building through education and founded Chanakya Mandal Pariwar, an institution devoted to character building, civil services mentoring, and leadership development. Through his lectures, writings, and mentorship, he has inspired thousands of young Indians to pursue public service and responsible citizenship. This talk was given at a TEDx event using the TED conference format but independently organized by a local community. Learn more at https://www.ted.com/tedx
