I made a Sailor Dress using a Vintage Pattern from the 1950s! (and it's utterly dreamy)
Thank you Birch for sponsoring. Visit https://birchliving.com/sewstine to get $400 off your Birch mattress plus two free pillows! In this video, I used a vintage simplicity pattern from 1954 to make myself the sailor dress of my dreams. I had so much fun making this. I went over the instructions given in the vintage patterns, while making changes as I saw fit to suit my personal needs, and my personal sewing style. Including ignoring the machine zipper instructions to put in a zipper by hand instead.
