Engaging Black Ohioans Who Have Lapsed in Voting

The Ohio Legislative Black Caucus Foundation is working to increase voting participation after releasing a new report that found an estimated 603,000 eligible Black voters in Ohio did not vote in the 2022 midterm elections. The foundation has launched a new program called Civic AF, with "AF" standing for "All Facts." The program is aimed at adults ages 25 to 44 and focuses on issues the organization says are most important to that age group, including childcare and public education.
