We were pleasantly surprised to see two little terns hunting at the end of the Brouwersdam, near the block dam. We hadn't expected them at this time of year! The fact that a common tern also flew by was a bonus. Afterwards, we visited the outer harbor of Stellendam, where we enjoyed the terns again. A lovely ending to our birdwatching tour over Schouwen-Duiveland and Goeree-Overflakkee.
