1994's DARK HORSE? Ukyo Katayama's Formula One Career (1992-1997)

Ukyo Katayama is often looked at as an also-ran, a pay driver who blagged his way through 6 seasons while 'more deserving' drivers had to sit on the sidelines. But his 1994 was much better than the stat sheets seem to suggest. He was often out-qualifying Blundell, he was running 2nd at Hockenheim with an iffy Yamaha and stuck his Tyrrell in 5th at the Hungaroring only to be wiped out by the two Jordans. So those 8 points could have been in the 20s if things went his way. That would have put him up there with Hakkinen and co. That would have been incredible. But it wasn't to be. Four seasons with a down on their luck Tyrrell and a career that fizzled out at Minardi. There's a few what ifs with this one. Enjoy! And remember to like and subscribe for more!
